Wilson Denounces Obama as a Liar (Video)
In this video from president Obama’s Healthcare speech last night, Joe Wilson of South Carolina cries out “you lie” to President Barack Obama. Something that many Americans would like to shout. It’s true that for a joint session of congress it is inappropriate to shout out at the president making an address but at the same time is it appropriate for the President to take such a sacred occasion to spread his lies. Isn’t it about time someone called him out on it? If you are in a church and someone is speaking blasphemies wouldn’t you shout them out just the same?
What is your opinion? Did president Obama warrant the attack from Joe Wilson because of his health care lies or did Joe Wilson go too far. Join in our “fair as MSNBC news” debate!
If nothing else it was precious to see Pelosi (who kinda looked like a well groomed chiwawa) physically break down as if she had some kind of standards, knowing she’d grin her inherently devilish grin if Bush was still the President.

I don’t agree with Wilson’s response. Though I don’t think Obama should get away with spreading his lies.
Where’s the numbers? Show me the numbers? I just don’t believe him when he says it won’t cost taxpayers any more money.
How is that going to happen? Government doesn’t play fair, they can keep costs low by putting in a cap, but when costs exceed the money being paid in the burden will shift to the taxpayers.
I for one refuse to work every day to give all my income up to the government. That is slavery.

The politicians seem to expect a very high degree of respect to be lavished upon themselves by one another, and by We the People of the United States (the folks who they work for … although they seem to have forgotten that). That “respect” , if it continues the way it has for decades, will cost this nation dearly because it seems to bridle people from standing up and saying “ENOUGH! NO MORE! THIS IS WRONG AND YOU ARE A LIAR!!!” I applaud Senator Wilson for speaking out in a very public forum where people could hear. I hope it rallys more people to stand up against tyranny and the formation of a dictatorship.
I’m grateful that our Founding Fathers decided that it was time to cease with the polite protocol and take up arms. One has only to read our Declaration of Independence to be reminded of what was put up with for decades before they cried “Enough”. We shall never wait so long again.
It is interesting what people expect from their elected representatives.
Obama holds a higher office, lies regularly and is praised for it yet Wilson holds a lower office, tells the truth and is comdemned for it.
Perhaps the hope is that eventually Wilson will become deceitful enough to hold higher office in the future?
What BILL currently proposed (because he wasn’t talking about HR 3200) is he talking about? I call this The Dream Plan. He makes it up as he talks. This plan does not currently exist except in his mind. It isn’t on paper anywhere! Did anyone notice the Senator with the sign “WHAT BILL?”. Even they don’t know WTF he is talking about!
Why don’t you people just admit that your problem with President Obama has nothing to do with healthcare or any other policy. Your problem with the president is the color of his skin…and he’s getting too uppity to suit your good ole boy tastes.

Obama is a liar. Now I hear that the whitehouse is tapping into all web posts and emails, etc. Obama is a liar. Lie, lie, lie. And Nancy Pelosi! The unmitigated gall of that woman to chastise anyone. She needs to go back to Mexifornia and fix her own state. Her and her botox butt.
I don’t agree with the senator shouting out in the middle of the President’s speech and disrupting decorum. BUT I also don’t agree with the President himself turning the joint session into a pep rally with Nancy Pelosi jumping up and down as his head cheerleader- (so unattractive and a total lack of decorum). The President should be held to presenting facts, not lies, to Congress and the American people. If he can’t be trusted to do so, we should impeach him.
That is probably why the Democrats are now taking back the President’s campaign promise of transparency by posing bills online at least three business days before a vote – so the American people can be duped by the Congress and President painting the facts in lies and not letting us see the “real” truth.
