Barack Obama went to church this Father’s Day and Spoke a little about Deadbeat Dad’s. At one point even speaking about his own father.

I’d have to say Obama is right about deadbeat dad’s but wrong about the approach. Sponsoring legislation in Congress to provide more child support money to children by offering a tax credit for absent fathers who pay support doesn’t strengthen the family. Instead it encourages father’s to continue in their deadbeat ways by giving them tax incentives and continues to push the government into an area it shouldn’t be in. The government doesn’t raise kids, families do. Fathers need to be in the homes. A Father needs to love his wife, and children. Fathers need to teach and lead their children and show them how to be valuable members of society. That doesn’t happen with a child support check. Maybe if Obama went to church that preached something other than hate, he’d have a better grasp of that concept.
