Instead, Barack will try and win over Catholics by ignoring the important social issues of gay marriage and abortion, and focus on common ground. A wise decision from a political standpoint, but also a rather deceptive one too. The I’m not that bad approach (see Frog Theory). Sure I could care less about human life, and well who cares about preserving marriage. I’m for change, I’m for hope. I’m for freedom, I’m for the oppressed.
