We could assume that everyone wants to avoid a government shutdown that would cost the taxpayers money and delay the paychecks of government workers including soldiers and their families. A temporary fix has been presented by the House, but the Senate and Whitehouse refuse to allow it to become law. Why? Because they call it a distraction. The real reasoning behind it is that plan parenthood would be defunded.

We’re supposed to assume that the government doesn’t pay for abortions because there is a law against it. But what the government does do is fund Plan Parenthood which pays for abortions. This is the sticking point in getting the fix in before the Government shuts down tonight. The democrats wont come out and admit that the reason that they won’t approve the bill is because they want to keep funding abortions, rather they call the bill a distraction.
