Lightweight Obama
Search the Internet for “lightweight obama” and you will soon discover how the obfuscating weasel is withering in the face of McCain’s onslaught, as recently exemplified by Obama’s humiliating encounter at the Saddleback megachurch.
In May Obama cockily proclaimed he would debate Sen. John McCain “anywhere, anytime.” Now that he sees that he will be trounced in any such encounter, his handlers are doing everything possible to avoid the face-to-face debates proposed by Senator McCain.
It is unfortunate that a majority of Americans do not remember the agony of the pitiful four years of the Jimmy Carter presidency. An Obama presidency promises to bring us the same kind of lightweight foreign and domestic policy that Carter piously offered up as leadership. Obama is a lightweight when compared to Carter, but characterizing him as Carter-lite won’t mean anything to vacuous Obamaphiles who worship his rock star persona. They either weren’t alive when Carter was president or were to too stoned to notice Carter’s failures.
Don’t forget what Santayana said about history: “Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.
