Have you taken a look at the new recovery.gov website?  Typical Obama Fluff.  Where’s the meat?  Pretty pictures, fancy graphs, and testimonials.  No real data.  Interested in reading the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009?  Follow the links from recovery.gov, to whitehouse.gov and finally to gpo.gov to view the actual text of the bill.  Maybe Obama has  never been to usability.gov?

Anybody else concerned about the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009? The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 is Obama’s biggest lie to date.

Why do you say you’re going to cut down on government pork, and then sign off on the biggest government spending pork laden bill in history?

The key to economic recovery is not going to come by giving money out to the masses? The key to economic recovery is not going to come from increased debt. The key to economic recovery is not going to come from pork spending. The key to economic recovery is not going to come from one time projects, that stimulate the economy in the short term. How does fixing a road stimulate the economy? Once the road is finished your back in the same position as before, no work, looking for another road to build. If the road doesn’t generate any income, then where does the income come to build future roads?  Something has to be making the money.   Socialism, cannot grow the economy. If everyone takes and nobody gives, we get deeper and deeper in a hole. Socialism rewards the lazy and indolent, and penalizes those that work. Why work when you get the same benefits either way?

Economic growth can only happen when people except the consequences of poor decisions. Taking the consequences away doesn’t solve the problem.

Here’s a statement that may be hard to swallow, but is true.

The liberals cry that innocent people are losing their houses and that we must help them, that’s the American thing to do. The truth is, The houses were never their houses in the first place. They were the banks houses. The banks let them live in the houses, in return for periodic loan payments. So to say they are losing their houses is a lie. The house isn’t theirs until the last mortgage payment is made.

Now before you liberals cry how heartless the previous statement is. You must at least except it as a fact. That isn’t to say it isn’t sad when someone loses the house they live in; because it is. Especially when someone loses the house they live in because they lost their job, and can no longer make the payments. But sometimes when times are tough we need to down size, move in with friends, relatives, an apartment or shelter, until we can get back on our feet.

Socialism, attempts to shelter us from consequences. But is that what life is really about? To live perfect little sheltered lives without ever feeling pain?
